Paper presentation is an individual competition where each participant is required to create a paper (essay) in English about a given theme and show it with a PowerPoint presentation. The purposes of this competition are to enhance participants’ ability to create papers in English and deliver ideas to people.

What will be the themes for every round? Paper Presentation themes for Preliminary Round and Final Round is “Explore Beyond Your Horizon : The Role of Indonesia’s Youth to face Digital Economic in the Era of Industrial Revolution 4.0”.
How long perform’s duration for final round? Duration for Final Round is twenty minutes, which the consists are ten minutes for participant perform in front of two adjudicator and audience during ten minutes, and QnA session by Adjudicator, and each of adjudicator ask two questions.
Can i bring notes while delivering my presentations? On Final Round, participant mustn’t be allowed bring notes.
For some reasons, I can’t join the competition, but I had paid registration payment fully. Can I do refund? a) The committee of EIA XVIII (2019) will not provide any refund for those who are quitting the competition or disqualified for any reason. Participants may do replacement along with this problems. b) The participations who have been registered online can be replaced with a new participant but it can be allowed ONLY in the same branch competition, at the latest on Tuesday, June 18th, 2019 by sending the request of replacement to EIA XVIII (2019) Paper Presentation Competition’s e-mail address : email@example.com, with the following subject: Replacement_(Paper Presentation Competition) and the following format body mail :

c) Any kind of related document that supports the participant’s reason must be attached within the email (e.g. signed medical permit from hospital, participant can send the document in an image form/PDF form). If the committee finds the reason as an acceptable reason, then the committee will send the approval of replacement request to the participant’s e-mail address.
When should I submit my Paper Presentation hard copy? Each participant has to submit three (3) hard copies of the paper on Monday, July 8th, 2019 (at the Technical Meeting).
