Debate is a competition that each team will compete through arguments, cases or problems regarding issues happening around using British Parliamentary System which there will be opening and closing team between affirmative and negative team. One team will consist of 2 debaters and 1 N+1 adjudicators.

What is the system of this Debate Competition? This Debate Competition use British Parliamentary system
What if my team not attends the Technical Meeting? Your team should accept the result of the Technical Meeting and will not know about the Debating Seminar
What if my team could not send the N+1 Adjudicator? The N+1 Adjudicator is a must. If your team can’t send the N+1 Adjudicator, can’t participate in this Debate Competition. At least one institution send one N+1 Adjudicator.
What if the N+1 Adjudicator not attend the N+1 Adjudicator Accreditation? The N+1 Adjudicator that not attend the N+1 Adjudicator Accrediatation will directly become trainee. For some reasons, my team can’t join the competition, but I had paid registration payment fully. Can I do refund? a) The committee of EIA XVIII (2019) will not provide any refund for those who are quitting the competition or disqualified for any reason. Participants may do replacement along with this problems. b) The participations who have been registered online can be replaced with a new participant but it can be allowed ONLY in the same branch competition, at the latest on Friday, June 28th, 2019 by sending the request of replacement to EIA XVIII (2019) Debate Competition’s e-mail address : email@example.com, with the following subject: Replacement_(Debate Competition) and the following format body mail :

c) Any kind of related document that supports the participant’s reason must be attached within the email (e.g. signed medical permit from hospital, participant can send the document in an image form/PDF form). If the committee finds the reason as an acceptable reason, then the committee will send the approval of replacement request to the participant’s e-mail address.
